Autumn updates

Had some fun the past couple of weeks:

Our Tansy, Ch. Caerleon Sunset Sensation, had a fat healthy litter of 5 puppies (4 boys and a girl). All are doing well and looking good. Here they are with Tansy, all settled in.

We celebrated Halloween at the Blue Ridge SSC Specialty by seeing our Maddie (Caerleon Sweet Madelaine) go WB and BOW for a specialty win under judge Liz Bianchi. She topped off her weekend with another WB the following day; in both wins she was handled by Zana Friend. Tansy and Maddie are littermates and daughters of our special girl Dezz, BISS Ch. Caerleon Sunset Boulevard CC

Blue Ridge SSC Match

2 weeks ago we went to puppies' first match and had quite a nice time!

Our bi blue girl was runner up to BOB at the match under Linda Sanders.

Pandora at Penn Ridge

Penn Ridge held their match on August 22 so we took Pandora along. She is our Peyton/Baxter daughter and she went BOBP and Herding Group 1 puppy at the match. We are very excited about the way she is coming along. She is also very bold and cheerful!

Recent News

Well, most importantly we have puppies!  Peyton had one sable girl on June 5 and she is healthy and happy and fat. Zoey has had her first litter as well, 2 blues (a boy and a girl) and 2 bi backs, also a boy and a girl. They were born on June 4. They are also doing well but Peyton is assisting with them because of her experience; all are vigorous but a couple are small and Peyton might step a bit more crefully around the little ones!

Our other news involves show wins in the past couple of weeks. Photos are not back yet but last weekend was a good one for Sunebank and Caerleon.
On June 5 our Noah, Sunebank Caerleon Novation, was WD and went on to BOB at the Greater Philadelphia Dog Fanciers show, handled by Carolyn.
The following day at the Burlington Co. KC show the little Dezz daughter Maddie (Caerleon Sweet Madelaine) was handled to a WB/BOS win by Carolyn as well.
That same day Sunway Lo-Cash Cowboy (Peter), Marilyn Feingold's sable boy out of our Ch. Sunebank Broadway Bound went WD and on to BOW, BOB, and ultimately to a group 4! What a fun way to wrap up a good weekend!

New Champion at Sunebank!

Our lovely Keira, also known as Sunebank I-Mar Keira, was awarded her championship with a Major win (Winners Bitch and Best Opp) under judge Terry DePietro at the Wilmington Kennel Club event May 1. She was beautifully groomed and handled to her win by our friend Rose Chandless. Thank you Rose!  Keira is loved, co-owned by and lives with Marilyn Feingold. Here she is shown in her win photo at ASSA 2009Nationals in April, awarded 4th in a very competitive Open Sable class. What a good girl!

A Wonderful Winter Weekend for Sunebank and Caerleon!

Last weekend brought snow, wind, and the Virginia Sheltie Specialties. It was a good set of shows for us.
Under judge Thomas Coen our own Caerleon Sunset Sensation (Tansy) was WB/BOW for her first Specialty major at the SSC of Tidewater on February 12 .

The next day at the second SSC of Tidewater show (February 13) Laurendel Bitter Conquest was RWD under judge Nioma Coen; he is a son of our Quest and is bred and owned by Shauna Dasnoit.

Continuing a successful run, the following day at the Central Virginia SSC show, Ch. Sunebank Broadway Bound (Natalie) was BOS under substitute judge Nan Bodine. Congratulations Marnie!

To wrap up a nice weekend of shows, the second Central Virginia SSC show on February 14, judge Rose Tomlin selected Tansy for her WB, and then went on to award her Best of Breed for her second Specialty Major AND her first BISS. So now, 1 point shy of her Breed championship, Tansy is BISS Caerleon Sunset Sensation! In both of her wonderful wins this set of shows, thanks go to her wonderful handler and our dear friend Zana Friend. Thank you so much Z!

We will post photos as soon as they arrive.
